The course of the match "Getafe vs Barcelona"

Barcelona posed a threat to Getafe from the 8th minute. Robert Lewandowski met Ilkay Guendogan's pass, but the Polish striker's header was saved by goalkeeper David Soria.

In the 15th minute, Raphinha was fouled by Stefan Mitrovic near the penalty area. He took the free kick but was repelled by Soria. In the 26th minute, it was Oriol Romeu's long-range shot that failed to lead to a goal.

Getafe did not stand still. A neatly constructed attack in the 30th minute led to a flat shot fired by Juan Iglesias from the front of the penalty area, but the ball was caught by Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

Raphinha had another chance from close range in the 36th minute, but Soria again managed to keep out the Brazilian winger's shot. And failing to score isn't the only apes Raphinha has experienced.

In a balanced situation, Barcelona put pressure on Getafe again. One of them was through Romeu's long-range shot in the 62nd minute, but the direction was not on target.

In the 70th minute, it was Xavi Hernandez's turn to get a straight red card after allegedly insulting the referee. Earlier, he protested against the referee for not awarding a free kick to Abde Ezzalzouli who was fouled in front of the Getafe penalty area.

Ansu Fati, who came on for Pedri, almost scored in the 80th minute, but his close-range shot bounced over the goal. A similar result was obtained by Ezzalzouli three minutes later when he fired a long-range shot.

Until the game was over, no goals were scored. This result made both teams win one point in the first week.
