Nintendo Will Release New Console
There is the latest news for you gamer lovers, "Nintendo Will Release a New Console". Nintendo is rumored to be releasing a next-gen console similar to the Nintendo Switch. It is said they will launch it in the second half of 2024.

According to Serkan Toto, an industry consultant in Tokyo, a console launch next year makes sense for Nintendo. This is considering they are projected to experience a decline in Switch hardware and software sales in 2023.

Still according to Toto, "Hardware is already projected to decrease 16.5% from the previous year in the current fiscal, while minus for software is estimated to reach 15.9%. The only way to stop these losses from the next fiscal bloated is a new toolkit, and the second half of 2024 sounds realistic to me."
On the other hand, many gamers suspect, the release plan next year because the company wants to ensure that enough stock of its latest product is available on the first day. This aims to avoid obstacles experienced by PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Nevertheless, some say that this latest console will come with an LCD screen, instead of using a more premium OLED. It seems that the reason itself is to keep production costs down.
Not to mention the need for a console that must be able to accommodate many games. When looking at Nintendo Switch, currently gamers can only enjoy 32 GB of internal memory. Meanwhile, many of the latest generation PlayStation and Xbox games have a size of more than 100 GB.
It's just that it seems that Nintendo's new console also has an external memory slot. It is similar to its predecessor Nintendo Switch.
Unfortunately, it is still unknown whether the new product will support Switch games. For now, the company still hasn't provided clarity on that.
