Bayern Munich vs. Werder Bremen: 4-0

"Bayern Munich vs. Werder Bremen: 4-0", became good news for all Bayern Munich fans. Even Bayern Munich's mission to defend its championship title was opened with a landslide victory at Werder Bremen.

The match was held at Wesser Stadium. Leroy Sane was the star of Die Roten's victory after scoring a pair of goals in each half.

Sane gave Bayern a quick lead in the fourth minute. Bayern had to wait 70 minutes before getting their second goal from Kane's kick. The Bavarian club got hotter towards the end of the game to produce two more goals created each from Sane and Mathys Tel.

Bayern started well. Leroy Sane opened Bayern's lead after scoring a quick goal with just four minutes to go.

A counterattack was ended by Kane with a short pass in midfield. The ball was received by Sane who stood free so that he was free to dribble forward. Sane finished with a flat shot into the bottom corner of Bremen's goal to make it 1-0.

Six minutes later, Bremen created a counter-goal. Niclas Fullkrug met Marvin Ducksch's free-kick with a header that beat Sven Ulreich. However, the goal was disallowed for offside.

Bayern spread their threats from Kane, Jamal Musiala, Kingsley Coman, and Leon Goretzka. Bremen responded with a strike from Fullkrug in the minutes of the first half, although the score was 1-0 until the break.

After the intermission, Bremen immediately pressed. Fullkrug gained space and time outside the penalty area to take a crossing shot. The ball rolled near the post, but it failed to reach Leonardo Bittencourt.

Before the game lasted an hour, Bayern almost scored his second goal. Alphonse Davies' jab ended with a shove to Kingsley Coman. The latter player followed up with a curling shot into the bottom corner of the goal, but the ball just hit the post.

Bayern's long-awaited second goal was finally born. Harry Kane extended Bayern's lead to 2-0 in the 74th minute.

In a counter-attacking scheme, Davies fired a flat cross to Kane, who finished with a right-footed shot from the edge of the box.

Bayern managed to score his third goal when the game reached 90 minutes. Sane again etched his name on the scoreboard and made it 3-0.

Eric Choupo-Moting's one-two partnership with Thomas Mueller ended with a short cross. Sane finished with a shot into the empty net.

Ahead of the match finished, Mathys Tel created Bayern's fourth goal to finish the game with a score of 4-0. Alphonse Davies' maneuver on the left wing was completed by Tel with an accurate shot from inside the box.
