However, a source denied that the two singers were at odds. The source explained that Megan is excited to finally get acquainted with the former *NSYNC member.
Eyewitness denies altercation between Megan Thee Stallion and Justin Timberlake
"He [Justin Timberlake] said, 'Nice to meet you'," the source told Variety on Tuesday (12/9).
"And she [Megan] countered, 'No, no, this is countless. We must meet properly. That's so adorable," the source continued.

Another source who was also an eyewitness to the incident also denied any altercation between Megan Thee Stallion and Justin Timberlake.
The source also said that Megan is excited to finally meet her idol.
"Meg loves Justin. He said, 'No, no, no, we've never met before'," the second source revealed.
"It was their first meeting and he was very happy."
A video from netizens captured the moment of a minor altercation between Megan Thee Stallion and Justin Bieber backstage at the 2023 MTV VMAs.
In addition to the two, there are also other *NYSNC members, namely JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, and Chris Kirkpatrick.
Timberlake appeared to talk to Megan, who followed this by pointing his index finger at the former boy band member.
