Bima City, West Nusa Tenggara has several natural tourist destinations that spoil the eye. One of the natural tourist destinations that can be visited is Kolo Beach, a marine beauty in Bima City, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia.

Taking information from Kompas.com, Kolo Beach is adjacent to Asakota Fort which is the entrance to Bima Bay. To the north of the beach, there is a stretch of open sea with views of mountains lined up around it.

Because of its strategic location and close to the city center, this beach is relatively easy to reach, which is approximately 2 kilometers or about 20 minutes from the center of Bima City.

With an entrance ticket of IDR 3,000, visitors can do diving activities by snorkeling while enjoying the beauty of coral reefs and colorful fish under the sea.

The seawater at Kolo Beach is also fairly safe and friendly for children because the waves are not too big and suitable for playing in water or swimming. Visitors can also rent buoys at a rate of IDR 10,000.

The parking fee is set at IDR 2,000 and the gazebo rental is IDR 10,000.

The visitors can also go along the sea by renting a boat that has been provided at a fairly affordable price.

If you want to stay overnight, there are also seven tourist huts to stay overnight. The rates vary, ranging from IDR 250,000 to IDR 350,000 per night.

Things to do at Kolo Beach

Some of the activities that can be done here include taking pictures, snorkeling, swimming, and walking along the sea by boat.  

In addition, there are also several facilities in the form of gazebos that are used to relax on the beach while enjoying views of the open sea.

On weekends (Saturday and Sunday), this beach is relatively more crowded so if you want to find tranquility, you should visit at other times.
