The management of the Ulun Danu Beratan Daya Tarik Wisata  (DTW) in Candikuning Village, Baturiti District, Tabanan, Bali plans to increase ticket prices.

Ticket price increase only for domestic tourists

Quoted from Tribun Bali, the increase in ticket prices is only for domestic tourists, while local Balinese tourists and foreign tourists still follow the old rates.

DTW Ulun Danu Beratan Manager, I Wayan Mustika said, the increase in ticket prices was carried out through consideration of the results of comparative studies outside Bali.

The results of a comparative study found that the average ticket fare mechanism of domestic tourists is different on weekdays and weekends.

"That's why we adopted (ticket prices increased for domestic tourists)," he said, Sunday (13/8/2023).

The ticket price increase is planned to be only IDR 10,000 for weekdays and IDR 20,000 for weekends.

So, the ticket price will be IDR 40,000 for weekdays and IDR 50,000 for weekends.

While the entrance ticket price for local Balinese tourists remains IDR 30,000 per person, foreign tourists children IDR 50,000, and adult foreign tourists IDR 75,000.

According to him, the realization of new ticket rates for domestic tourists will be carried out in 2024.

Visits reach 3,000 people per day

The number of visitors continues to increase after the Covid-19 pandemic.

Since the beginning of August 2023, for example, the figure has reached 3,000 people per day.

"Now foreigners can reach 2,000 people. Rather than domestic, yes. They are many from Europe and Australia. If India is now a little bit," he said.

Although planning to increase ticket prices for domestic tourist visitors, Mustika believes the number of visits will not be disturbed.

In addition, they will also conduct socialization to travel agents and other parties who often coordinate with management.

"We don't think it will interfere with the number of visits here," he said.

In addition to visiting the temple, visitors to Ulun Danu Beratan can also surround the lake while riding a boat or taking pictures.
